Thursday 30th July 2020
Hello, todays notice will be brief.
There continues to be record number of cases of COVID-19 reported in Victoria and a further deterioration of the situation in the Aged Care Homes.
Finley Regional Care does not have any cases of COVID-19 in the resident, client or staff population.
However, the ever-increasing risk of community spread has reached a tipping point.
As a result, in consultation with the board of management, Finley Regional Care will lockdown our services like our previous position in April.
This will take effect from 3pm Thursday 30th of July 2020 until further notice.
- All future visits are now cancelled. Only staff and services are permitted.
- Authorised visitors will be considered on a case by case basis for compassionate and extraordinary reasons only and executive approval.
- All staff will be required to wear a mask whilst at work.
- Access to Finley Regional Care by everyone (except staff) is only via the administration building.
This is reflected in our updated Visitor Access during Pandemic, Epidemic, Regional and Organisational Outbreaks of Communicable Diseases, Stage: 1(C) – Moderate Risk: Code Brown.
We will provide further updates after 12pm on Tuesday 4th August.
We thank everyone for their cooperation during these uncertain and unique times.
