A lovely time was had by all at the “Wine and Dine” on Wednesday 5th July. Ray McCartney sang for us all and a seafood meal was enjoyed.
The Cinema is still being well visited every Friday and Monday. The numbers of visitors to the “corner shop” have increased and more residents are interested in taking a peek at any new stock. “Spiders” will be served in the Shop as the weather warms up.
All the usual activities are continuing- Craft, cooking, book club, pamper sessions, gentle exercises, Bobs, bowls, mini-golf, skittles, weekly bingo, table and board quizzes, Social club every Wednesday afternoon and weekly visits from our local pre-schools.
The bus trips will be starting up again shortly, both the morning scenic drives and the men’s group afternoon bus trips.
The “Tovertafel Table games” are being played on a weekly basis, down in house 1 and more games are to be introduced soon.
The Activity staff are always trying to add new ideas to our program, and we are open to any suggestions from residents and their families.
