The weather is beginning to warm up and activities have changed to suit the warmer months.
Gardening programs have started up and some of the social activities are moving outside into the fresh air. We concentrated our craftiness on the Craft Fair that was held at FRC on 21st October, and managed to create a nice table of goodies for people to buy.
More bus trips have been requested by residents and will be happening more often over the summer months. Indoor active games are still very popular, and the Social Club has had very good numbers turning out every Wednesday to participate in the singalongs, armchair travel, trivia, and even” Olympic table games”. We’ve also had residents requesting speakers to visit and talk about their areas of expertise, so this will happen monthly.
An AFL finals BBQ was held and the feedback from residents was very enthusiastic.
We look forward to many more summer events over the next few months.
